This beautiful nature house on the old Deale of 1793 is a wonderful place for families; with lots of space. You are in the farmyard of the old farm from Aalten. ( no longer in operation ) The Weaving Room was remodeled in May 2019 and now tripled in space while maintaining old elements, there is quite a lot of light and the bathroom has floor heating. There are two bedrooms, one of which is very spacious and where there is possibility of placing 2 cribs for a baby/toddler. You can spend the night here with a family of 4 adults + 2 children. You can sit outside on the terrace, children have plenty of room to play in the yard. Would you like to cook outside? You can. A Weber or Brogracs pan is available. If you get another person to sleep on the spot we ask € 85. This is based on space and possibility. A high chair is available. Come and see the goats or chickens.We make our jams etc ourselves. Welcome to the farm! See you in the Achterhoek!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the outskirts of the municipality of Aalten and is surrounded by beautiful meadows and bushes where deer and pheasants hide. Outside in the yard you will find a vegetable garden, often you can use the surplus of vegetables for a small fee. This includes free-range eggs, which you can buy on site. Various jams and applesauce from the fruit of the trees are available in the landlord's farm shop, as well as wood. In the vicinity of the cottage you will find, among others, the Vennebulten and the Aaltens Goor, the Slingeplas, Loohuisbos, Landgoed 't Walfort, the Kloosterbos and Zwanenbroek. Among the outlying areas of Winterswijk are the Korenburgerveen, Wooldseveen, Buskersbos, Bekendelle and the Steengroeve. The Vragenderveen is 15 kilometers away. Across the border is a beautiful hiking area, various cycling and hiking routes are available from the landlord or at the tourist office.
