This detached nature house is located by the Wadden Sea in the village of Paesens-Moddergat, one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. The area is ideally suited for hiking, cycling and birdwatchers. On the ground floor of this sunny house you will find the living room, spacious kitchen, utility room, study, a separate toilet with sink and the bathroom with shower and sink. A steep staircase with good handrail takes you to the first floor. On the first floor is a walk-through bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. The house is tastefully decorated with some brocante items and there are several works of art hanging on the wall. This creates a simple and authentic atmosphere. You can eat outside in the private attractive garden.
Nature and surroundings
The nature around the house is dominated by the Wadden Sea. Every day is different. You can make beautiful walks on the pier (one kilometer into the sea) or even mudflat hiking and swimming at high tide. In addition, the national park the Lauwersmeer is a must visit. There are several walks there and there are lookouts and bird huts, At the Lauwersmeer is a beautiful beach for swimming. Bird lovers can watch many migratory birds and geese here in the spring and fall. In summer you can see the spoonbill. For fishermen, there is the port of Lauwersoog.
