Nature house in Teyssieu

If I could give higher than a 10 I would. The cottage itself is very tasteful and solid. Fully equipped with all amenities. It is located near the owners house. The grounds are large and beautiful. At the cottage you enjoy nature. In the evening you can hear the owl, see the bats. In the morning the deer (do get up in time). The owners are very helpful, know the area and are very hospitable.

Als ik hoger dan een 10 kon geven deed ik dat. Het huisje zelf is heel smaakvol en degelijk. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ligt nabij het huis van de eigenaren. Het terrein is groot en prachtig. Bij het huisje geniet je van de natuur. In de avond hoor je de uil, zie je de vleermuizen. In de ochtend de reeën (wel op tijd opstaan). De eigenaren zijn heel behulpzaam, kennen de omgeving en zijn zeer gastvrij.

A rare beautiful environment. Pretty villages, beautiful hills with varied forests. Despite the heat a very green environment. Very nice hiking and biking from the cottage.

Een zeldzaam mooie omgeving. Mooie dorpjes, prachtige heuvels met gevarieerde bossen. Ondanks de hitte een zeer groene omgeving. Heel fijn wandelen en fietsen vanaf het huisje.

It is remote, and that’s good! 2k down a woodland track (our small campervan was fine) then have woodland, a meadow plus far reaching views all on site is wonderful. This is a place to come if you wish to recharge. The terrain is hilly so walking is great but an e-bike is probably a good call if you want a cycle and enjoy the stunning views and beautiful old honey stone villages. There are some lovely local attractions, chateau, caves, lake to swim in and market towns like St Ceré to visit. We felt the house exceeded our expectations and the entire family felt calm and relaxed. I would love to return one day.

Blissful stay in this sweet characterful home in the most beautiful and creative setting. The owners Ina and Frank have really built an high quality off grid home that is a pleasure to be in. Good quality shower and everything we needed. Note there’s only a tiny countertop oven but a full hob. I slept beautifully in the box bed and enjoyed seeing trees from the window. Quiet, dark skies, birds, bats, gorgeous sunsets just elevated the experience. The various terraces to dine were fabulous as we watched firecrest and nuthatches at breakfast, then housemartins from the covered terrace. You really can feel the love and toil the owners have undertaken to create this haven for wildlife but also provide a comfortable rental home. Ina and Frank are very kind people plus attentive to any issues that may crop up. It’s rare to get a holiday let where the owners genuinely aid you to get the most from your holiday. Having a beer with them on the last night just elevated the joy I experienced. :-)

A very well-kept house with character and a garden that invites you to linger. It would be nice to have a functioning WLAN and to be informed that the last two kilometers to the house can only be reached with an off-road vehicle.

Eine sehr gepflegtes Haus mit Charakter und ein Garten, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Zu wünschen wäre ein funktionierendes WLAN und der Hinweis, dass die Anfahrt auf den letzten zwei Kilometern eigentlich nur mit einem Geländewagen möglich ist.
