On the grounds of a farm you find this ruralhut, a cabin. This traditional Norwegian hytte was built in the 19th century and has many original features. The floor, for example, is made of the thick and very wide boards of just one tree! The cabin houses four people.
Nature and surroundings
The ruralhut is located in the Gudbrandsdal valley, 25 kilometers west of Dombås. Surrounded bij fields, forests, the Lågen river and the mountains of Reinheimen national park. The farm is located very quiet and scenic. Lots of wildlife: moose, deer, reindeer, muskox, etcetera. The beautiful Lågen river near the farm holds wild trout.
