Nature house in Dalfsen

This sustainably built nature house (2018) is located in the countryside between Dalfsen and Heino. In the spacious wooded garden, you can relax in a hammock and enjoy the sun and the birds nesting all around. You can also walk or bike right into the Sterrenbos. On clear nights, you can fully enjoy the starry sky here. The nature house measures 100 m² and has everything you need. The living room features a large table perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal. The open kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, an energy-efficient refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The spacious bathroom is downstairs and features a walk-in shower, sink, and washing machine (not included). The open loft upstairs has a single bed, and the bedroom features a charming double bed (140 cm wide). The upper floor has a second toilet. The house is not particularly suitable for small children (no stair gates, high chair, etc.). Parking for one car is available on the property. Smoking is not permitted. Two bicycles are available free of charge.

The nature house is located on the edge of the forest, right on the Maarten van Rossum Trail. The forest has countless hiking trails and a small area of heathland. During the winter months, roe deer and hares occasionally venture into the garden. Birdwatchers will be in heaven here. The area is teeming with birds, and there’s a good chance you’ll spot woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches, wrens, robins, and finches. Sometimes you might even hear or see tawny owls and hawfinches. Almost every spring, a flycatcher nests in the outdoor light. By bike, you can explore the nearby estates and the Overijsselse Vecht. In Dalfsen, you can go swimming or rent a boat or a stand-up paddleboard. In the Vecht Valley, you can enjoy local specialties such as strawberries, asparagus, and cheese. The excellent restaurant De Witte Gans is within walking distance. The train stations in Dalfsen and Heino are both four kilometers away.
