Nature house in Dalfsen

In the countryside between Dalfsen and Heino stands this sustainably built nature house (2018). In the spacious woodland garden you can enjoy the sun from the hammock and the birds nesting everywhere. You can also walk or cycle straight into the Star Forest. During clear nights you can fully enjoy the starry sky here. The nature house is 100 m² and contains everything you need. In the living room there is a large table at which you can dine extensively. The open kitchen has an induction hob and an energy-efficient refrigerator and dishwasher. The spacious bathroom is downstairs and has a walk-in shower, sink and washing machine (exclusive). The open loft upstairs has a single bed and the bedroom has a charming double bed (140 cm wide). The upstairs has a second toilet. The house is not especially suitable for small children (no stair gates, high chair, etc.) Parking for one car is possible on private property. Smoking is not allowed. Two bicycles are available free of charge.

The nature house is located at the edge of the forest, right on the Maarten van Rossum trail. The forest has numerous hiking trails and a small heath area. In the winter months, deer and hares occasionally enter the garden. Bird lovers can enjoy themselves here. The area is rich in birds and chances are you will see woodpeckers, tits, nuthatches, wrens, robins and finches. Sometimes you may even hear or see tawny owls and apple finches. A flycatcher nests in the outdoor light almost every spring. By bike you can explore the estates in the area as well as the Overijsselse Vecht. In Dalfsen you can swim, rent a boat or a sup. In the Vecht valley you can enjoy regional products, such as strawberries, asparagus and cheese. Within walking distance is the excellent restaurant De Witte Gans. The train stations of Dalfsen and Heino are both four kilometers away.
