In the beautiful Gelderse Achterhoek, between the places Aalten, Varsseveld and Dinxperlo this beautiful ruralhut is centrally located in De Heurne. Provided with all conveniences, you can enjoy the peace and space that surrounds the area. The ruralhut can accommodate up to six people and it is ideal for rest seekers, but its also suitable for families. There is a large playground, it is possible to pitch a tent. A campfire is also possible. It is not allowed to smoke inside the house!

The ruralhut is located in De Heurne, overlooking the landscape of the Achterhoek area, near the German border. The house is located at five kilometers from the border town of Dinxperlo, which is famous for the border with Germany running through the village, the Friday market and the smallest church. Dinxperlo has all the amenities to do daily groceries. The village of De Heurne has a clog factory and the largest vegetable farm in the Netherlands is also located here. In the center of De Heurne there is a snack bar / cafe / dining area and a playground. You can cycle and walk endlessly through cycling junctions, church paths, the “Slingeroute” and the “AA route” (renting bikes is possible). There is the “Hameland Route” for a trip by car. Other possibilities include a boat trip on De Oude IJssel or going fishing. In addition you can walk in the forest, golf or go swimming in the outdoor or indoor pool. Or go on a survival adventure, where the Achterhoek is known for. Go shopping, or sightseeing or on a city excursion in Doetinchem, Winterswijk and Arnhem, or Bocholt in Germany. Visit the national book city and fortified city of Bredevoort. Or enjoy the rest and look over the pastures where the cows walk and catch a glimpse of the roe deer and other animals.
