The nature house is not in a village, but in a forest edge in the foothills of the beautiful southern Hungarian Mecsek Mountains. No paved hiking trails, but pure nature, hiking trails from the house. You walk through 6200 acres of forests with red deer, wild boar, deer, badgers, foxes and jackal. Numerous birds including oriole, green woodpecker and kingfisher. Dragonflies, damselflies, frogs and water snake can be found in the stream on the property.Since 2019, there is also an observation cabin on the property from which red deer, roe deer and wild boar can be spotted and photographed at very close range. Within walking distance is also an organic farm of 100 hectares with authentic Hungarian cattle, one can go there for delicious goat cheese and responsible meat. The Mediterranean city of Pécs is 30 kilometers away, there you will find a friendly atmosphere, nice restaurants and several museums. Recently the landlords also have on their own property a common "chill corner", a cozy place with dip pool for hot days and a common campfire place for cozy evenings.There are also regular outdoor movie nights.
