Nature house in Dearsum vlakbij Sneek

A characteristic former front house of an old farmhouse located near the old village of Dearsum. The ruralhut has been restored in its original state. Some authentic elements such as a hardwood floor and beamed ceiling can be found in the house. There has been taken care of the decoration that you can describe as "atmospheric classical". At that time, the head of the farm was used only when a high visit came, so it was possible to show off. In the ruralhut you will find a spacious living room (showroom) with open kitchen equipped with all conveniences, such as dishwasher, microwave, DVD player and internet. Because of the (open) fireplace in this room you can also relax with the sparkling wood fire. The upper floor has two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a second toilet. The first bedroom is in the "foarein'', the head of the house. There is one double bed. The second bedroom, which includes three single beds, is in the farm's neck. There is a possibility to use the single bed on the landing. You can make use of your own entrance, a flowery garden with terrace and a wide view of the unique Frisian landscape.

The ruralhut is located near the ancient village of Dearsum (Sneek) in beautiful Friesland, at a distance of about 400 meters from the "Frisian Elfsteden route". You can also practice water sports such as fishing and canoeing. A walk through the village of Dearsum is worth the effort. Also, a visit to the church in Boazum and the famous winery in Wiuwert where you can see real mummies (natural phenomenon) can not be missed. "The Frisian Lakes" is a nearby water sports area with the city of Sneek as its center, all of which are by bike distance. A day out of the Wadden islands is also possible from here. From the ruralhut you can visit various cities such as Sneek, Leeuwarden, Bolsward, Franeker or Harlingen.
