Nature house in Oussy

This idyllic French ruralhut is located in a small village, at the foot of a mountain. The Yonne river flows just 300 meters away originating from the Morvan river. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and three bedrooms. There is a separate laundry area on the upper floor. A comfortable corner couch is located in the cozy living room with a TV and DVD player. From the living room you can enter the garden through the patio doors. Next you will find the fully equipped kitchen, with an induction hob, fridge and freezer combination, microwave, oven, citrus press, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom is furnished with a sink, shower and bathtub. The cottage has three cozy bedrooms. You can find a bedroom with a double bed and a closet on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two more spacious bedrooms. There’s a double bed and closet in both of these. One of these rooms also has a baby cot in them. The other bedroom has doors opening to the ‘French balcony’, where you have a stunning view of the garden.

The village of Oussy is located in the Morvan, a beautiful open regional nature park. The Morvan landscape is very varied and ranges from vast coniferous forests and centuries-old deciduous forests to crystal clear lakes, wild flowing rivers and rolling hills with meadows. There’s a high chance you will come across deer, foxes, swine and numerous birds of prey while going out for a walk or bike ride. This place is ideal for water sport enthusiasts. The large lakes and rivers in the area offer the perfect opportunity to sail, surf, raft, canoe, fish or just wander around in the many pedal boats that are for rent here. Just ten minutes away from the cottage lies the Lac de Panneciere, the largest lake of the Morvan. Because motorized water sports are prohibited here, it is also suitable for children. Another lake is Lac des Settons, where water sports are allowed. This lake is roughly 30 minutes away from the cottage.
