This nature house is located in the south of Spanish Catalonia at 500 meters altitude in the mountains of the medieval town of Tortosa. Within a half-hour drive from the finca you can visit, among other things, the unspoiled and breathtaking "golden" bays and beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, the Delta Ebre, the beautiful mountain range "Els Ports" de Beseit, the characteristic villages such as Horta de San Juan, Miravet and the medium-sized town of Tortosa with its many medieval buildings, restaurants and nice shopping streets. The NP Delta Ebre is a magnet for bird watchers. The Delta is a unique area including rice fields, lagoons and salt mining.If you want an active vacation, there are also plenty of activities possible in the beautiful natural areas of Els Ports and Delta Ebre, ideal for hikers, cyclists, bird watchers and nature lovers.A must is cycling the Via-Verde. The Via-Verde is a renovated old railroad line transformed into a beautiful bike/walking path right through the mountains. It has hardly any height difference and bicycles can be rented in the area. A canoe trip on the Ebro River is highly recommended for enthusiasts.
