Lovely. cozy nature house with panoramic views. From the cottage you can walk straight into the forest. In the ecological garden of over one hectare are many cozy seating areas. Bring your own: single sheet, single comforter cover, pillowcase and towels. The house has a living area of 90 m². No pets and no smoking.
Nature and surroundings
The property is located in the Eifel Ardennes Natural Park. We try to create a small paradise with an ecological lifestyle (own vegetable and herb garden, solar panels, biomass heating, hedges and hedgerows), on the more than one hectare entrusted to us. The East Cantons is home to Belgium's oldest nature reserve: the High Fens. With its area of 35 km², it is also the largest and is part of the cross-border Naturpark Hohes Venn Eifel. A beautiful area that lends itself to hiking, cycling and mountain bike tours. The nature house also has a sustainability certificate from ECEAT (European Center for ECO and AGRO Tourism). There is an information folder available including various walks that start from the nature house. From the cottage you can walk straight into the forest. For weekend rentals, departure on Sunday is only at 4 pm. (Arrival on Sunday is then 18 hours)

We hebben een heel fijne tijd in het huis gehad. Het was er rustig en de omgeving was prachtig.
Het huis was heerlijk: het was schoon, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het lag in een prachtige omgeving, grenzend aan bos en weilanden, en je kon direct vanuit de voordeur gaan wandelen. Het was er heerlijk rustig; ik vond het heerlijk om in de tuin te zitten en te genieten van het uitzicht en het gezang van de vogels.

We had a wonderful vacation week! A lovely, peaceful cottage surrounded by greenery. Just a few steps and you’re in the woods. A nice, large garden with both sun and shade. Fijne vakantieweek gehad! Een heerlijk rustig gelegen huisje in het groen. Een paar stappen en je bent in het bos. Fijne grote tuin met zowel zon als schaduw. A warm and welcoming reception! A comfortable cottage. Everything we needed was there. Next to and behind the house, there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view and the sounds of birds.
The upper floor was warmer and cozier to sit in than downstairs; it’s a shame there’s no handrail along the stairs.
It was great that there was plenty of useful information available.
