The spacious, four-person nature house is attached to the main house and has a lovely, sunny, private terrace with dining table, lounge bed and comfortable loungers. For the necessary cooling down during hot days you can use the swimming pool located in the garden and the children can enjoy themselves on the trampoline and swings in the orchard. The house has a large bedroom (+/- 20m2) with double bed, a smaller bedroom (+/- 10 m2) with bunk beds, bathroom with shower and toilet, a cozy living / kitchen with four-burner stove, refrigerator and dining area. Nature and surroundings
The area around the nature house is characterized by a picturesque, undulating landscape of the Alentejo with cornfields and cork oaks and several small villages. Alentejo is a hilly area between the Tagus and the Algarve and offers a very variable landscape with forests, beaches, cattle breeding, farmland, numerous breeding storks and impressive reservoirs (such as the famous Santa Clara reservoir). Alentejo is the largest province of Portugal (26,000 km2) and also the region with the least number of inhabitants per km², so the sense of belonging is still strongly cherished here. This is also reflected in the music (Fado), the traditions (processions and parades followed by a "baile" = Portuguese dance evening) and the local cuisine. There are several picturesque towns in the area such as Odemira (20 kilometers), São Luis (10 kilometers) and the slightly busier resort of Vila Nova de Milfontes (20 kilometers). The towns are nice for shopping, culture, going out or enjoying the delicious regional dishes at the various restaurants.
