Nature house in Tiel

In an old orchard of about 1500 m² on the Waal, this very special ruralhut is located. On the other side of the dike is a protected nature reserve, making this ruralhut ideal for those seeking peace and nature. Outside, the Wetlands floodplains and a stone's throw away are the old center of Tiel in the heart of the Betuwe. The ruralhut offers many possibilities for cycling, hiking, trips in the center of the Netherlands. The loam plastered stay is cozy / modern decorated with authentic wood burning stove and has all the conveniences you will need during your stay. It offers privacy because of its free location and its own entrance from the dike. The vide is lockable with a stair gate and there is a balustrade. The ruralhut is fully furnished and has a spacious living room with kitchen, hall, toilet, shower, bedroom and bedroom overlooking the orchard. Outside is a cozy private semi sunny terrace with access to the common orchard. The cottage is fully equipped with central heating. In the living/kitchen you can use a four-burner gas cooker, kitchenware, Nespresso machine, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The wood stove creates a cozy atmosphere during the colder days. Furthermore there is a TV, DVD player, CD player, radio and Wi-Fi. In the bedroom is a double bed and on the floor there are two single beds. The cottage is accessible via a dike nature trail (about 40 meters). Smoking and pets are not allowed during your stay.

The protected islands, Passewaay Wetlands, are located across the dike with stunning views over the Waal. Nesting and wintering various birds in this area, accessible to hikers. Immediately from the dike there are possibilities to stumble through the floodplains. In summer, swim at the Waal beaches, 300 meters from the residence. Furthermore, the stay is in the middle of several cycling routes that run along the Waal and the Betuwe. In summer, the many fruit trees in the area are blooming and the various orchards are in their splendor. At a short distance is the Linge, where you can go canoeing.
