You can make trips to Manderscheid(15 km.) with its marvellous fortress and familiar volcano lake, to Daun with its Hirsch- and Saupark or to the city Bitburg (20 km.) with its many shops and restaurants. But enjoying the rest is at issue here. Already at 200 metres from the house you reach the fringe of the wood from where you can take lovely hiking tours.
