Nature house in Weisenbrunn

The vacation apartment "Vier Birken" (approx. 55 m2) is quietly located on the edge of the forest in the town of Weißenbrunn in the Frankenwald Nature Park. The vacation apartment is on the ground floor of the house, where the owner also lives. Weißenbrunn is located on the "beer and castle route" (B85) between Kulmbach and Kronach in the middle of the nature park Frankenwald. The small town of Eichenbühl lies opposite the lovely Rodach Valley in a wooded area. The area offers many opportunities for walks and trips. There are restaurants in Weißenbrunn (2 km away) and in Hummendorf (1 km away). In addition, there is a nice swimming pool in Weißenbrunn. The cities of Bayreuth, Bamberg, Coburg and Hof are 40 to 60 km away, and medieval Kronach is about 7 km away. Within a radius of about 25 km are the pilgrimage church and baroque basilica Vierzehnheiligen as well as the monastery Banz. One of the most powerful castles in Germany, the Plassenburg, with its world-famous tin-figure museum is located in Kulmbach. In Kulmbach, also called the clandestine capital of beer, you will have the opportunity to taste the strongest beer in the world (EKU 28). At the German Steam Locomotive Museum in Neumarkt/Wirsberg, you can see 30 restored steam locomotives from 1909 to 1956. On certain days, it is even possible to ride along on the museum's track. For a raft ride on the wild Rodach you can go every Saturday between May and September. This tradition continues because transport on wooden rafts on the wild Rodach was an important livelihood for the inhabitants of the Frankenwald until 1960. Of course, you can also visit the numerous woodcarving mills and the raft museum in Marktrodach.
