Just above the city of Groningen lies the oldest cultural landscape of Europe, the Reitdiepgebied. In the middle of this area, between the vast meadows of Adorp, lies this cozy farmhouse, which used to be a small hamlet with even a church and cemetery. The farm has been rebuilt in the atmosphere of 1900 with the materials of the old farmhouse and old-fashioned bedsteads. The vacation home has been realized in the front part of the farmhouse. The barn of the farmhouse is a small exhibition space which is occasionally used by Het Groninger Landschap for small-scale activities. The front house and the barn both have their own entrance. This place is ideally suited for lovers of nature, peace and space. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy walking and cycling, and the cozy city center of Groningen is only 8km away. Visit the Martini Tower or the Groninger Museum. From 15 March to 15 June the bike path is closed due to breeding season.
