The ruralhut has a high standard with authentic details, but with all the comfort of today. Oak floor, beans on the sealing. A fully equiped kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven, micro-wave, dishwasher, 4 pits hob) with a large dinner table, living with electric heard, TV, hifi and library. Free wifi conection (512Kb) Through the open windows doors of the living you arrive on the terrace, partly covered and the privat garden, orientation south-west, so sunny from 11.00 hours till sunset. Behind the kitchen the is a hall with toilet and a room with washing machine and wash dryer. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with each his privat bathroom (WC, bath/shower and sink). The rooms have two single beds which can be made as a large bed. One of the rooms has a mezzanin with a third bed. Babycot and high chair available. In the garden is also a "jeu-de-boules" terrain. Pets and smoking in the hous are not allowed as we also rent the hous to allergic people. We live in the same building on the other site, the ruralhut has its own entrance to reach by a 60 meters long road, so fully privat. parking directly next to the ruralhut.
Nature and surroundings
Summer or winter, the Jura is a special tourist destination, covered with lakes, rivers and waterfalls. It is also well known for its gastronomy, wines, cheese and regional dishes.A selection of several cultural, sportive and gourmet activities. An ideal location for all your trips in the Jura as we are in the middle of it. In our village (40 inhabitants) there is no commerce, Poligny (comté cheese capital) is at 7 kilometers. There is allso a chees museum, Arbois is at 15 km and known for its special Jura wine, the Poulsard and also there is the house of Louis Pasteur and wine museum. Lons le Saunier; capital of the Jura, thermal, grotten, Baumes les Messieurs, the cascades of Hérisson, the lakes, valleys and lots more. Hiking maps end biking maps and other touristic informatios is at your disposal.
