In a unique location in the north of Friesland you can enjoy peace and space. In a cozy furnished ruralhut of larch wood you will be far away from all the hustle and bustle of this time. You have views over hundreds of hectares of open area in an active agricultural environment. In the summer and fall horses, cows and sheep are in the pastures. In the winter months the geese come along in large numbers and scatter the rains through the meadows. In spring, part of the area is a meadow bird resting area. You can enjoy walking through the old country road. A full bath, bed and kitchen linen package is always included in the price as well as Wi-Fi. The cottage is suitable for disabled people and wheelchair users. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

Nature and surroundings

The ruralhut is in a natural setting with views over the meadows. These pastures are affiliated with the National Landscape Noardlike 'Fryske Wâlden (Geese Fourageren and Grassland)'. Lauwersmeer National Park is nearby, as well as the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, including the Schiermonnikoog National Park.
