A cozy retreat surrounded by nature, where the tranquility of the countryside invites you to slow down. This independent chalet features a comfortable bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom. On cooler days, the wood-burning stove creates a warm and intimate atmosphere. Outdoors, the open-air hot tub and private terrace, overlooking the swimming pool and the surrounding landscape, invite you to unwind. Surrounded by an olive grove with about 150 olive trees, our retreat has a tradition we love to share. We are starting our own small-scale, artisanal olive oil production. Between November and December, during the olive harvest, guests may have the opportunity to take part in this authentic experience and discover the rhythms and flavors of rural life. In the morning, breakfast is served right in the chalet. It’s a special place to reconnect with nature, enjoy privacy, and savor life’s simple pleasures.

Its location is ideal for exploring the Serra da Estrela, with its breathtaking scenery and hiking trails, as well as the region’s beautiful river beaches, perfect for a refreshing swim on warm summer days. Discover the charm of Portugal’s Historic Villages, with their medieval castles, stone houses, narrow streets, and centuries of history. Fundão, famous for its delicious cherries, is just a short drive away and offers a taste of local flavors and traditions. Back at the property, the swimming pool, outdoor spaces, and peaceful surroundings invite you to slow down, listen to the birds, and admire the starry skies. Whether you enjoy mountain adventures, swimming in natural waters, discovering cultural heritage, or simply relaxing in nature, Terras do Salvado is the perfect base for exploring the authentic beauty of inland Portugal.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:30 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
