Beneath the old wooden beams, you’ll find a spacious and cozy family room for 2 to 4 people. A comfortable place where tranquility, character, and the rural charm of Hof van Herxen come together. The room features two single beds and one double bed. The room is located in the B&B, and the price includes breakfast made with organic, local products. Use of the spacious bathroom—which includes a bathtub, toilet, walk-in shower, and sink—is shared.
Nature and surroundings
Herxen is beautifully situated on the banks of the IJssel River, near Zwolle and Deventer. The B&B is located in a nature reserve and is surrounded by water. The view from the farmhouse is magical; it sits on its own stretch of water where plenty of seating areas have been created so you can enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. You can go for endless walks and bike rides in the area. Are you a birdwatcher? Then you’ll have a blast here—kingfishers, great white egrets, little egrets, spoonbills, ospreys, and white-tailed eagles are regularly spotted here, so be sure to bring your binoculars!

After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
