Tucked away in the peaceful surroundings of 't Zand, this Tiny house (mobile home) offers cozy accommodations for two guests, just 7 km from the sea and the beach. Situated on a beautiful mill grounds with a view of a historic watermill that’s over 400 years old, this is a unique location. Inside, this accommodation features a well-equipped open kitchen with a dining table, a stove, a sofa, and a cozy box bed with a double bed. The luxurious bathroom with toilet and washing machine is just a short walk away (10 meters) and is for private use only. Guests can relax on the private terrace with patio furniture—a serene spot to enjoy the view of unspoiled nature. On Tuesdays, the mill is put into operation and is well worth a visit! Practical amenities such as a washing machine, heating, and air conditioning ensure a comfortable stay.
Nature and surroundings
In addition to the beautiful coastline, the forests and dunes are also nearby, such as “de Donkere Duinen” in Den Helder, “het Zwanenwater” near Callantsoog, and the Schoorlse Duinen. Guests have plenty of opportunities for relaxation and outdoor adventures. Paddling out from your own backyard in a canoe or kayak is the perfect way to enjoy the immediate surroundings. A day trip to the island of Texel is well worth the effort. Be sure to explore the unique Hoenderdaell wildlife sanctuary in Anna Paulowna as well. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining nearby. Whether in Callantsoog, where delicious meals are served at the beachside restaurants by the sea, or dining on the lively Marktplein in Schagen.
