Charming 85 m² vacation home surrounded by nature—peace, space, and comfort Set in a beautiful, green location within a small, quiet park—uniquely situated between Vilsteren and Ommen—this charming vacation home sits on approximately 1,000 m² of land. Thanks to its location in the woods and the sunny south-facing garden, you can fully enjoy peace, privacy, and natural light here. The house is comfortably furnished. The new kitchen is equipped with all built-in appliances, including an induction cooktop with a range hood. There are two bedrooms with a comfortable double bed and a third bedroom with a practical fold-out bed. Two of the bedrooms feature spacious closets. The spacious veranda is a wonderful place to relax and features two skylights and atmospheric lighting. A sturdy wood stove adds to the cozy atmosphere, and the air conditioning allows you to cool or heat the space as needed. Outside, you’ll find a new driveway, a carport, and two additional parking spaces. Washer-dryer combo and Nespresso machine.
Nature and surroundings
Where the forest surprises you every day Tucked away among tall trees, surrounded by peace and nature, this delightful vacation home is situated in a unique spot. The sun filters through the trees, creating a warm, bright atmosphere in the garden. Right next to the house is the Maarten van Rossem Trail, and just 4 kilometers away lies the charming town of Ommen, through which the Pieterpad also runs. The Vecht River flows just 300 meters away, where you can take the ferry across during the season. Vilsteren is nearby, and the bus stop is right outside the door—making this spot a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Here, you’ll wake up to the sound of birds and might just catch a glimpse of a family of squirrels darting through the trees. Woodpeckers, nuthatches, titmice, robins, and sometimes an owl make this place a little slice of pure nature. The park is part of the Vilsteren Estate; it’s a fireworks-free zone, and nature takes precedence here!
