Come enjoy a relaxing and romantic stay in our cozy mobile home. It’s located in a secluded, sheltered corner of the garden with plenty of sun and shade on our property. Inside, you’ll find a cozy living area with heating, a bedroom with a closet, a comfortable double bed, and a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Senseo coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, small oven, 2-burner stove, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast on the porch in the morning, basking in the first rays of sunshine while listening to the birds, the chickens, and sometimes the voices of children. When you step outside down the small staircase from the kitchen door, you’ll find the cozy shower room right around the corner, built right up against the mobile home. Outside, there’s a seating area, a barbecue, and a covered area with two comfortable lounge chairs. There’s no Wi-Fi, but that provides peace and space to, for example, lie in the hammock with a good book or play a game.
Nature and surroundings
Our mobile home is located at the foot of the Hondsrug, between the Voorste and the Achterste Diep—the headwaters of the Hunze River, where you can enjoy wonderful canoeing or stand-up paddleboarding. You’re situated on the border between sand and peat, with green open spaces on one side and vast forests, heathlands, and sand drifts on the other. There are many hunebeds in the surrounding area; the largest is located at the Hunebedcentrum in Borger, 4.5 km away. In the charming town of Borger, you’ll also find shops, a tourist information center, and restaurants. Drenthe is truly a cycling province where you can head in any direction along beautiful nature trails, such as to the museum village of Orvelte or the Ballooërveld-Drentse Aa. If you enjoy horseback riding, there are riding stables nearby that organize trail rides. To explore the area on foot, the Drouwenerzand and the area around the Nije Hemelriek swimming lake are highly recommended. Or are you just looking for some peace and quiet? Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
