Nature house in Oudenaarde

Welcome to ’t Meuleveld, a detached vacation home for 8 people in rural Mater, in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. A place to enjoy peace, space, and the great outdoors together. The house features four spacious bedrooms with comfortable double beds, two bathrooms, and a cozy living area with an open kitchen and dining area. Outside, a large, green garden awaits, complete with a patio, barbecue, playground equipment, and plenty of space to relax or play. We’ve also thought of ways to unwind indoors, including board games and a ping-pong table. Families with young children are also very welcome. Baby cribs, high chairs, a changing table, and a baby bathtub are provided. The beds are made upon arrival, and towels are provided. That way, your vacation can begin right away.

’t Meuleveld is located in Mater, a rural village near Oudenaarde, surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Flemish Ardennes. From here, you can easily head out into the fields, sunken roads, and hills for a walk or bike ride. Here, greenery, tranquility, and sweeping views define the landscape. Hikers and cyclists will find an extensive network of trails in the region. The famous climbs and cobblestone sections of the Tour of Flanders are also nearby. The center of Oudenaarde is just a short distance away and offers cozy outdoor cafes, restaurants, and shops. There are also plenty of outings to enjoy with children, but there’s plenty of space to be outdoors right in and around the house and in the garden as well. After a day out and about, you’ll return to the tranquility of Mater: fire up the grill, let the kids play in the garden, and enjoy an evening together in the Flemish Ardennes.
