The charming village of Holten, with its shops, restaurants, and outdoor cafes, is also easily accessible.
Nature and surroundings
De Bonte Specht is located in a quiet, green setting on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug near Holten. From the vacation home, you can easily walk or bike right into nature. The area is characterized by forests, heathlands, meadows, and the hilly landscape of Salland. The Sallandse Heuvelrug is ideal for hikers and cyclists. There are beautiful trails through the woods and across the heath. In the summer, the heath turns purple, and in the fall, the changing colors create a picturesque landscape. There’s plenty of greenery around the vacation home as well. In the spacious garden, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the birds that are regularly spotted there. The charming village of Holten is nearby, with shops, restaurants, and outdoor cafes. Rijssen and Deventer are also easily accessible. Whether you want to actively explore the area or simply enjoy peace and nature, you can do both here.
