Tiny house in the Rondehoep Polder A beautiful, new Tiny house (built in 2025) in a quiet and open spot at the back of our farm in the Rondehoep Polder. From the tiny house, you have an unobstructed view of the meadow, the flower garden, and the surrounding polder. A lovely place to get away from it all, yet still close to Amsterdam. The tiny house is 36 m² and features a bedroom, a bathroom, and a cozy living room with a large glass wall. From the couch, you can look right out over the meadow and watch various meadow birds fly by. You can cook in the kitchen, which features a 2-burner electric stove and a combination oven. Outside, there’s a BBQ, so you can enjoy dining in the garden when the weather is nice. Next to the cottage is a private sauna. From the sauna, you can look out over the vegetable and flower garden and the meadows of the Rondehoep. It’s a lovely spot to unwind at the end of the day.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage, you can step right out into the Rondehoep polder. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the sweeping views, the birds, and the cows in the pastures. From the farm, you can take a lovely walk through the polder across our own pasturelands. The farm is located right on the Amstel River, making it an ideal base for cycling and hiking trips. The Rondehoep and its surroundings are a popular cycling area. About 1.5 kilometers away lies Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. It’s a charming village with outdoor cafes and restaurants along the water, including several spots where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. The village also has a good bakery, a butcher shop, and two supermarkets. Prefer a day of culture or a trip to the city? Amsterdam is surprisingly close. From the farm, it’s a 12-kilometer bike ride to the center of Amsterdam. Places like Amstelveen, Weesp, and the Gooi region are also easily accessible.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund

- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
