Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Vecht Valley, in a small, wooded park (without a reception desk or anything like that), this vacation home is situated in a place where peace, nature, and comfort come together. Perfect for getting away from the daily hustle and bustle, it’s a delightful spot in the woods among the many birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Upon entering, you’ll find a cozy living room with French doors opening onto the covered patio, where you can fully enjoy the outdoors. The open kitchen is practically laid out and equipped with various built-in appliances. The home features two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The home is furnished to accommodate six people. The fully enclosed wooded garden surrounding the house spans over 770 m² and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. With several seating areas in the woods, you can choose from various spots to relax outside.
Nature and surroundings
This detached bungalow is located in a small-scale forest park that is part of the private Vilsteren estate. The recreational park is situated in the beautiful countryside surrounding Vilsteren, a charming village in Overijssel. The surrounding Vecht Valley is known for its natural beauty, hiking and biking trails, forests, and river landscape. A short distance away, you’ll find charming towns like Ommen (3 km) and Dalfsen (7 km), where you can go shopping, enjoy dining options, and experience local culture. In addition, the park is right next to the forest on the Vilsteren estate, which is perfect for walking, and diagonally across from the entrance is a solar-powered bicycle ferry across the Vecht River. It’s also located along the Maarten van Rossum Trail and near the Pieterpad hiking route. There are plenty of other activities as well, such as horseback riding at the adjacent riding school, boat tours and canoeing in Ommen, and countless mountain bike trails.

For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €100.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
