A cottage with a camping vibe! Please note: the big English bus is no longer there! PLEASE NOTE: This is not a place for noisy groups; a small JBL speaker is allowed until 10:00 PM (except for guitar playing by the campfire) There’s a spot to build a campfire. The glass cabin has a toilet, shower, and basic cooking facilities (camping style) with a double induction cooktop, two pans, a drip coffee maker, a kettle, and a refrigerator. The glass cabin contains a double bed and a single bed. The old truck (Belgian Army) has a double bed, and the small construction trailer can also sleep two people. Pets are welcome by arrangement; however, if your dog has a strong odor, it is not permitted inside the cottage. Note for large groups: 1 shower, 1 indoor toilet, and 1 outdoor eco-toilet. There is another cottage on the property that is sometimes rented out as well, but it has its own entrance and is screened off so you won’t see each other and won’t be disturbed by one another.
Nature and surroundings
There are plenty of recreational opportunities in the surrounding area. Just around the corner is the Maasduinen Nature Park, where many hiking trails begin (there are countless nature reserves here!). Bring your bikes! Go swimming at the bustling Leukermeer or the peaceful Seurenheide. The picturesque village of Well is just a stone’s throw away, and at Veronique Gelato d’Italia, you can enjoy the best ice cream in Limburg with a stunning view of the Maas River. Don’t forget to visit Arcen! The Castle Gardens and the Hertog Jan brewery—with its lovely terrace and freshly brewed beer—as well as the charming village on the Meuse with its grand castle are must-sees. You can rent a boat in the harbor of Wanssum. The supermarket and some fries from Adje are always handy and nice and close by! 1.5 km
