Nature and surroundings
Your lodge is located in the Asbroekerheide, one of the three quietest areas in the Netherlands. Here, nature sets the pace: vast heathlands, ancient forests, and the soft light of Central Limburg. Step right out your front door and into tranquility—no traffic, no rush, just space to breathe. Hikers and cyclists will find a paradise here. Explore the Leudal, Limburg’s largest nature reserve with streams and beech-lined avenues, or De Meinweg National Park with its unique terraced landscape. Cycle along quiet country roads through the Roer Valley all the way to the German border. In the evening, enjoy a starry sky free from light pollution. The Burgundian region of Limburg is also nearby. The village of Heythuysen is just around the corner for local products and a terrace, and cities like Roermond (with its famous outlet mall) and Weert are less than half an hour away. Still, the most beautiful destination is the place itself. Here, you don’t have to go anywhere—the silence and nature do the rest.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €100.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 25 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
