Welcome to real life. This nature house offers the ideal accommodations for celebrating real life together. In this renovated old dairy factory, you can stay with your partner, family, or group of friends in spacious, rustic, and comfortable apartments. The decor is rustic, yet the apartments are fully equipped with spacious, comfortable bathrooms—often featuring bathtubs or large showers—and large kitchens where you can truly cook and eat together. In the garden, you can enjoy the beautiful, expansive, unspoiled Frisian Wadden Sea landscape. Apartment 3 exudes spaciousness. At 135 m², it has more than enough room for 8 people. Here, too, there’s a fantastically large kitchen with a cooking island you could practically live on! It’s a high-ceilinged apartment with a very open feel, thanks in part to the large sliding doors that you can open wide to fully enjoy your outdoor space and the sweeping view of the farmland and the ditch.

The nature house is located in northeastern Friesland at the foot of the Wadden Sea dike. It’s near the authentic fishing village of Paesens-Moddergat, just a stone’s throw from Lauwersmeer National Park, and close to the ferry to Schiermonnikoog. Enjoy mudflat walking—even by moonlight, if you’d like. Take a nighttime walk with the forest ranger in the Lauwersmeer Dark Sky Park, where you can see the Milky Way on clear nights. Experience art in top-notch museums in Leeuwarden and Groningen, and exhibitions in unique galleries, cultural churches, and outdoors.
