Relax and unwind in this comfortable and cozy nature house. This Nature House is located behind our little farmhouse, where we live with our sweet Labrador, Saar. Our two mini donkeys and the chickens roam the orchard. There’s a garden with several seating areas, including one with a fire pit and a view of the countryside. This cottage is a detached cottage with M-Line mattresses and a sofa bed for a third or fourth person. The fully equipped kitchen features an induction cooktop, a Nespresso machine, a refrigerator, a microwave, and an oven. The bathroom has an artistic look with Delft Blue mosaic tiles. Heating and cooling are provided by an air conditioner. All rooms are located on the ground floor and are wheelchair-accessible. Our nature house has a covered porch where you can relax. The yard features seating areas, picnic tables, and lounge sofas that are available for use. There is a charming wall greenhouse with coffee and tea facilities where you can also enjoy a cozy spot to sit.
Nature and surroundings
From this nature house, you can enjoy wonderful walks and bike rides in the beautiful surroundings of Drenthe. Just 300 meters behind the house, you can step right into the nature of the “Drents Landschap.” You can follow hiking trails from the “Recreatieschap Drenthe” starting right from our address. Drenthe is known for its many bike paths. A beautiful bike ride takes you through the Reestdal, where the little river Reest meanders. The Dwingeloose heath and authentic village green settlements are within biking distance. Within a 500-meter radius, you’ll find storks, foxes, badgers, roe deer, and, of course, many more animals. In the morning, you can enjoy the many birds in our yard, and in the evening, a concert of frogs in the large natural pond.
