Our nature house is situated on a four-hectare estate and serves as a wonderful base from which to explore Central Portugal. Visit authentic villages, hike through nature, take a refreshing dip in the Mondego River, or simply enjoy a good book in the shade. Here, you don’t have to do anything. Here, you’re free to slow down, relax, recharge, and make new memories. Where peace finds you again.
Nature and surroundings
Quinta dos Lagares is located in the green heart of Central Portugal, where peace, space, and nature are still a given. The nature house is situated on a four-hectare estate featuring woods, open spaces, and plenty of privacy. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy hiking, biking, or exploring authentic Portuguese villages, where life still moves at a leisurely pace. The Mondego River is just a short distance away, where you can swim or go stand-up paddleboarding. The historic university city of Coimbra and the impressive natural beauty of the Serra da Estrela are also easily accessible for a day trip. Whether you choose to spend an active day in nature or simply want to enjoy the silence and the birds around you, here you’ll find plenty of space to relax and recharge.
