The cottage offers everything you need to enjoy these things. On warm days, the trees provide welcome shade. There are also plenty of spots around the house where you can soak up the sun to your heart’s content. In addition, there are plenty of other options nearby, such as the nearby swimming lake “De Kibbelkoele,” the Ellert and Brammert Museum, or a day trip to Emmen, which features attractions like the Wildlands Zoo. Inside the bungalow, you’ll find various brochures detailing what the area has to offer.
Nature and surroundings
The bungalow is located in the forests of Drenthe (Slenerzand), near the charming villages of Noord Sleen and Schoonoord. There are beautiful bike routes through nature and through and past charming Drenthe villages, such as Wezep, Orvelte, Exloo, Odoorn, Schoonloo, and Borger. In Schoonoord, you’ll find shops that carry everyday essentials. The Ellert and Brammert Museum tells the story of Drenthe’s history. Kabouterland in Exloo is a fun outing for the little ones. The Drouwenerzand amusement park is also highly recommended for amusement park enthusiasts. There are also good dining options in the immediate vicinity, such as De Deel in Sleen, the pancake house in Oud Aalden, and restaurants in Schoonoord. Various brochures about the area and local attractions are available in the bungalow.
