Welcome to our nature house! This nature house is a traditional retro-style retreat located right at the entrance to the forest. It’s situated on a corner lot within the small-scale vacation park “Klein Zwitersland” in Zuidwolde, Drenthe. The large, enclosed, covered porch of this nature house invites you to enjoy the outdoors right away and offers plenty of privacy thanks to the surrounding greenery. There are 5 sleeping spots, and the beds are made upon arrival. Dogs are welcome—for a fee charged by the park! On cooler evenings, this nature house has a stove that easily heats the space. On warm days, two mini air conditioners are available. The kitchen features a 4-burner gas stove, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and all the basic necessities.
Nature and surroundings
A winding path through the woods leads you to Klein Zwitersland Recreation Park. The park is small and peaceful. There’s an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and a small shop. It’s fantastic for families with young children who don’t like crowds. But couples and small groups of adults also enjoy coming here. Bicycle rentals are available at the park. A washing machine and dryer are also available. The village of Zuidwolde is 2 km away. Here you’ll find all the amenities you need, including a supermarket, restaurants, a snack bar, and more. The area around De Tippe is ideal for endless walks, bike rides (including mountain biking), or simply relaxing. The forest is fascinating in every season. Looking for a little more action? Nijstad Beach is about 6 km away. Various (sports) activities are regularly organized there.
