The "LebensArt" vacation apartment is located in our historic "Ostsee-Kate" vacation home. There, you can choose from three vacation apartments and a small vacation cottage. Our "LebensArt" apartment is 50 square meters in size. It’s on the ground floor, sleeps two people, and features a spacious bedroom, a charming dining room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a comfortable bathroom with a shower, a storage room, and a hallway with additional space for clothes and luggage. The spacious bathroom features a wellness shower, a towel dryer, a hotel-style hair dryer, and a large, illuminated mirror. Of course, this apartment also comes equipped with satellite TV, a DAB+ stereo system, Wi-Fi, and a safe. The private terrace, as well as our beautifully situated pavilion for cozy evenings in the large orchard and the shared barbecue area, round out your dream vacation. The apartment has been awarded four stars by the German Tourism Association.
Nature and surroundings
Our historic "Ostsee-Kate" is located on a 3,300-square-meter property in the quiet village of Schmatzin, which has a population of 100 and no through traffic. In ten minutes, you’ll be at the Peene River, the “Amazon of the North.” By canoe, boat, or on a guided river tour, you can experience a breathtaking river landscape. In addition, you can hike and bike in the surrounding area as far as you like. From Schmatzin, you can reach the island of Usedom in half an hour and the island of Rügen in three-quarters of an hour (both are also accessible by train and bike!). The Hanseatic cities of Greifswald and Anklam are very close by; Stralsund and the Szczecin Lagoon are about three-quarters of an hour away, and Rostock is just over an hour away. Whether it’s nature, culture, or cuisine: in Schmatzin, you have it all right on your doorstep, and after an eventful day, you can retreat to our oasis of tranquility.
