Nature and surroundings
Paračov is a small South Bohemian village set in a quiet landscape of forests, meadows, ponds and country roads. The surroundings are ideal for walks, cycling, morning runs and relaxed days outdoors, away from crowds and noise. From the cottage you can explore forest paths, nearby villages and the wider Strakonice region. Good trip ideas include the romantic ruins of Helfenburk, Strakonice Castle, the historic water mill in Hoslovice and Švecburg near Kváskovice. Families may also enjoy Sladovna Písek or the swimming area in Strakonice. The area offers simple local pleasures too: peaceful countryside roads, small villages, a coffee roastery in Drahonice and local farm products from Třešovice. After a day outside, you return to a private garden, a covered terrace and a calm house where you can grill, rest and enjoy the evening.
