Welcome to our spacious 12-person bungalow, located on the edge of the beautiful dune area of Schoorl and Groet. This comfortable accommodation is the ideal spot for families, groups of friends, and nature lovers who want to enjoy peace, space, and the unique natural beauty of North Holland. The bungalow features a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and ample sleeping and bathroom facilities for a relaxing stay with a larger group. Outside, you’ll find a spacious garden with several terraces where you can enjoy the sun, a good book, or a cozy meal together. From the park, you can walk or bike directly into the Schoorlse Duinen, the widest and most diverse dune area in the Netherlands. Here, vast dunes, forests, heathlands, and open sandy plains alternate. The area offers countless walking, cycling, and mountain biking trails for both recreational and athletic visitors. The North Sea is also just a 10-minute bike ride away
Nature and surroundings
The bungalow is located in the heart of one of North Holland’s most beautiful nature reserves, the Schoorlse Duinen and the Groeter Polder. The Schoorlse Duinen is the widest dune area in the Netherlands, with miles of walking, cycling, and mountain biking trails. Here, high dunes, vast forests, heathlands, and open sandy plains alternate. Thanks to the wide variety of landscapes, the area is a magnet for nature lovers, hikers, and birdwatchers. Just a few kilometers away lies the wide North Sea beach of Camperduin and Hargen aan Zee. Enjoy a long walk on the beach, a refreshing swim, or a beautiful sunset. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find the charming villages of Groet, Schoorl, and Bergen, known for their cozy terraces, restaurants, art, and culture. The historic city of Alkmaar is also nearby. Thanks to the unique combination of dunes, forest, beach, and picturesque villages, this is the ideal destination for those seeking peace and quiet as well as active vacationers.
