Our nature house is the perfect starting point for wonderful cycling and hiking trips in the surrounding countryside. You can also bring your horse and stable it in our two spacious stalls, then enjoy a lovely ride through the adjacent forest. Or book a riding lesson in our outdoor arena with our certified instructor, who specializes in straight-lining and rehabilitating horses. For those seeking peace and quiet, our cottage is also perfect for enjoying a good book on the terrace or inside the cottage. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants in the area (a charming restaurant is located just a 500-meter walk away, open Thursday through Sunday). Or, in our nature house, you can enjoy preparing a delicious meal together in the simple yet fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave/oven combo) or have a wonderful BBQ on the terrace. There are 2 spacious bedrooms (1 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor), each with 2 single beds measuring 90x200 cm. On the landing, there is an additional sleeping area measuring 90x180 cm.
Nature and surroundings
Centrally located in the Netherlands (10 minutes from the A1/A12) and surrounded by nature, our cozy nature house, De Bosrand, is situated here. It is accessible via a public road that ends in a cul-de-sac, followed by our 600-meter-long access path along the edge of the forest and meadows. For road cyclists: the Amerongse Berg, De Posbank, and more. For mountain bikers: the Amerongse Berg, Leersumse Veld, Kwintelooyen, the Goudsberg in Lunteren, and Den Treek—all featuring plenty of single tracks with drops and hills. For touring cyclists, the cycling route network is right at your doorstep. Hikers can explore the area via various adjacent clog paths and hiking trails or take a loop through the castle forest in the center of Renswoude. At De Grebbelounche Veenendaal, you can learn about the history of the Grebbe Line during World War II while enjoying a snack and a drink. In the surrounding area, you can visit Amerongen Castle, and there are several shopping options in Veenendaal, Barneveld, and Ede. Swimming pools in Veenendaal and Ede. Movie theater in Ede.
