The house is located right on the idyllic Ängersjö (lake), in the Härjedalen region in the heart of central Sweden. Hiking, relaxing, fishing—if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place for you. Animal lovers can visit us at our farm (a 3-minute drive away) and, depending on availability and for an additional fee, book hikes (or sleigh rides in winter) with our huskies. The nearest town with shopping, cafes, a pharmacy, and more is Sveg, 30 km from the vacation home.
Nature and surroundings
Lakes and forests as far as the eye can see. You can go hiking right from the house. There are also national parks, some with very well-marked hiking trails, located between 50 minutes and 2 hours away by car, depending on the park. If you’d like to go fishing, you can purchase a fishing license (from us) for 25 euros, which allows you to fish in all the lakes.
