Welcome to our beautiful historic nature house in charming Oirschot. As soon as you arrive here, the hustle and bustle of everyday life immediately falls away. This cozy nature house is the perfect base for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Our cottage offers plenty of amenities. In addition to the four comfortable sleeping spots, there’s room for a crib. There’s also an extra room where you can retreat for a moment or work on your book :). Unwind completely in our green backyard. Under the shade of the walnut trees, you can enjoy a sweeping view of young cows in the meadow. Start your day relaxed with a cup of coffee and the birds singing in the background. In the evening, enjoy the croaking of the frogs or the call of the little owl while sipping a refreshing drink. Good to know: For an additional fee, you can book a private yoga class at the Yoga Studio, located right next to the nature house.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in the beautiful nature reserve “De Mortelen.” De Mortelen is a unique, small-scale nature reserve. In the spring, we can enjoy the tree frog, the wood anemone, the slender primrose, and of course much more. And in the fall, you can come and listen to the bellowing stags. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. In addition to the De Mortelen nature reserve, the Kampina and De Baest nature reserves are nearby, with the popular Chapel of the Holy Oak just around the corner. We’re centrally located between the villages of Oirschot, Best, and Boxtel. Oirschot is a charming and historic Brabant village. It’s known as a “Monument in the Green” thanks to its more than 300 national and municipal monuments, and its location in the wooded Brabant countryside. You can also stop by the charming market in Oirschot for a bite to eat or a drink. Due to personal circumstances, we weren’t able to fully enjoy everything the cottage has to offer. They’ve thought of everything, and if you happen to need anything, they’ll take care of it. Thanks to the fantastic weather we’ve had these past few days, we spent most of our time sitting in the garden, looking out over the greenery as far as the eye can see. We’d love to come back again.
Door persoonlijke omstandigheden hebben we niet optimaal kunnen genieten van alles dat het huisje te bieden heeft. Aan alles is gedacht en mocht je iets missen dan wordt het geregeld. Door het fantastische weer van de afgelopen dagen hebben we de meeste tijd doorgebracht zittend in de tuin uitkijkend over het groen zo ver als het oog kijken kan. Wij komen graag nog een keertje terug.
