Our Tiny House is built from a shipping container; the surprisingly spacious interior exudes tranquility and makes you feel right at home. The view looks out over the pastures of a cheese farm where cows graze and seasonal birds set the scene. Thanks to the 4-meter-wide front, the indoors feels like the outdoors. The Cabin is equipped with a kitchen featuring a dishwasher, a small oven, a 2-burner electric cooktop, a kettle, and slow-brewed coffee using either a percolator (espresso) or a French press (coarsely ground beans). The split-system air conditioner provides both heating and, if needed, cooling. The terrace features a lounge set and two garden chairs, along with a fire pit; weather permitting, you can relax there in the evening air by the fire and reflect on the day.
Nature and surroundings
In the village of Doldersum, our Tiny House is located at the back of the cheese farm’s property. Experience farm life in Drenthe with its hospitality and sense of home—just as we used to be accustomed to everywhere in the past: peace, space, and trust. Whether you want to slow down or work up a sweat, it’s all possible—with the many hiking and biking trails, as well as mountain biking and horseback riding routes. This area is part of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park and the Society of Benevolence, which in turn borders the Holtingerveld National Park. Drenthe, Fochteloerveen, and De Alde Feanen National Park in Friesland, and Weerribben-Wieden with Giethoorn in Overijssel.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:30 PM and 5:30 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
