This nature house is located in the heart of the Brabant Landscape nature reserve. The vacation home is on the ground floor and fully equipped. Through the private front door (contactless with a key box), you enter the spacious entryway, which leads to the spacious living room with kitchen and the bedroom with bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, combination microwave, and fridge-freezer; basic spices, oil, and vinegar are also provided. The wood stove adds extra ambiance and warmth. A basket of firewood is provided for each stay. There is a private parking space, and a locked area with a charging station for bicycles is available. De Hoeve is located on a terp (sand dune), and our vacation home is accessible via a flight of 6 steps. Bongaards Bakery is located in the village, 750 meters away. Open Tue–Sat 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Supermarket and shops in Grave are about 5 km away. We look forward to welcoming you, Willem-Arjen and Mieke

Nature and surroundings

The nature house is located in the heart of the Brabants Landschap nature reserve, where you can spot many birds and wildlife. From the living room, bedroom, and terrace, the vacation home offers a view of the natural lake (Plas 5) in the Kraaijenbergse Plassen. It is just a stone’s throw from the Meuse River and close to the Kraaijenbergse Plassen recreational area, the historic fortified town of Grave, and various waterfront restaurants and bars. The Gasselse Bos, Tongelaar Estate, De Maashorst nature reserve, and a trip along the Meuse River (through Batenburg, Appeltern, Megen, and Ravenstein) are just a few of the beautiful hiking and biking routes. This makes it the perfect base for cycling and hiking trips—or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The nature house is very spacious and fully equipped. It’s tastefully decorated with an eye for detail; we immediately felt right at home upon entering. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking, but there are also plenty of places to eat nearby. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet, the open space, and the beautiful surroundings.

A beautiful spot in a nice, quiet location, with a view of the Kraaijenbergse Plassen. In the morning, we were able to enjoy the rising sun.
