New on nature house! Located on a small dead-end road, in the woods, on the edge of Glaskogen National Park. Here you can wander endlessly, swim in the countless lakes, pick berries, hunt for mushrooms, go canoeing, do yoga, hike, bike, build fires.... or simply relax and do nothing. The bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The couch in the living room is a sleeper sofa. Ideal for 2 adults with 2 children, or 3 adults. The house is heated by a beautiful wood stove that serves as the focal point of the living room. The kitchen is simple, and our guests usually cook outside on the fire or the electric cooktop. You can also use the wood-burning stove or oven. Water is drawn from the well or the stream; there is no running water. A water filter is provided. Enjoy a shower with a beautiful view in the cool outdoor shower. There is a “Cinderella” toilet in the outbuilding, which also serves as the traditional Swedish “löppis.”
Nature and surroundings
Distance to swimming area: 10-minute walk. The wooden cottage, measuring approximately 65 m², is situated on a 2,000-meter lot. The property offers plenty of privacy; your only neighbor is the landlord. This is handy if you have questions about the area or need a little help getting started with the fireplace or something similar. The surrounding area is characterized by numerous lakes, vast forests, and high moors. There are endless hiking trails and canoe routes. Karlstad and Arvika are also nearby, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and museums. Nature is just waiting to be explored. You’re free to venture off the beaten path here, allowing you to truly go on a journey of discovery. Just make sure you don’t get (too) lost, because the national park is large. You might encounter animals such as moose, foxes, hares, vipers, bears, wolves, and deer—and, if you’re lucky, of course, the lynx as well. There are many shelters in the national park with fire pits (and often firewood) that you’re welcome to use. Many are located right by the water. Go for a swim and have a barbecue!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €150.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.

- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.

- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
