Welcome to our cozy nature house, beautifully located in the Norger forest and the Langeloërduinen. Here you will enjoy peace, nature and comfort. There are always birds to see in the woodland garden and the squirrels regularly come by. The chalet is located on the edge of a small quiet forest park and you walk directly from the chalet into the forest. The area around Norg is known for its beautiful, varied nature. Directly from the cottage you walk along quiet sandy paths, through primeval forest and heathlands. In the village of Norg - within walking distance - you will find supermarkets, bicycle rental, cozy restaurants and authentic Drenthe farms. Also Assen and Groningen are easily accessible (20-25 minutes by car). A must is a visit to Veenhuizen, 5 km away and recently UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will find the Prison Museum, brewery Maallust and the beautiful nature reserve Fochteloërveen, where with a little luck you can spot the special crane.
