Enjoy peace, space, and nature in our comfortable, lovingly furnished guesthouse in Ansen (near Dwingeloo), located in a section of our charming farmhouse. This cozy guesthouse has its own entrance, garden, and parking. The bathroom features a toilet, shower, sink, and underfloor heating. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric stovetop, and a Nespresso machine. Wi-Fi, TV, and central heating. There are 2 bedrooms: 1 with a bunk bed and 1 with 2 single beds. There is a double comforter and 4 single comforters. Beds are made up for each guest. The accommodation is within walking distance of the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park, ideal for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers who want to enjoy the vast heathlands, forests, and tranquility of Drenthe. A walk in the evening sun across the es (our backyard) is a lovely way to end the day! Matthieu and I (Mariska) warmly welcome you to Ansen!

Fun things to do nearby: Dwingelderveld National Park — a vast heathland with hiking and biking trails, flocks of sheep, and plenty of peace and quiet. Perfect for a day outdoors. Theehuys Anserdennen — a cozy spot in the middle of the woods for coffee, cake, or lunch after a walk. Achter 't Zaand Sheep Pen — here you can see the Dwingelderveld sheep herd; great for kids or nature lovers. Rheebruggen Estate — an old Drenthe landscape with beautiful hiking trails along streams, through forests, and past historic farmhouses. Hiding Place near Diever — a historic site from World War II, hidden in the woods. Oermuseum in Diever — a small but charming museum about prehistory and dolmens. For a meal or a drink, Restaurant De Huuskamer is a well-known spot right in the village. Dwingeloo, Giethoorn, and the museum village of Orvelte are also popular day trips from Ansen.
