Enjoy peace, space and nature in our comfortable lovingly decorated guesthouse in Ansen, located in a part of our characteristic farmhouse. The cozy stay has its own entrance, garden and parking space. There is a bathroom with toilet, shower, sink and floor heating. A complete kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric hob and nespresso machine. Wifi, TV, central heating. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with bunk beds and 1 with 2x single beds. There are a double comforter and 2 single comforters available. The accommodation is within walking distance of the beautiful National Park Dwingelderveld, ideal for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers who want to enjoy the vast heathland, forests and tranquility of Drenthe. Also for experienced horse lovers, this is a unique location. There are 3 horses available for rent. Matthieu and I(Mariska) welcome you in Ansen!
Nature and surroundings
Some nice tips nearby: National Park Dwingelderveld - huge moorland with hiking trails, sheep herds and lots of peace and quiet. Ideal for an afternoon outdoors. Theehuys Anserdennen - cozy place in the middle of the forest for coffee, cake or lunch after a walk. Schaapskooi Achter 't Zaand - here you can see the flock of sheep of the Dwingelderveld, especially fun with children or if you like nature. Landgoed Rheebruggen - old Drenthe landscape with beautiful hiking trails along streams, forests and monumental farms. Hiding place near Diever - historic place from the Second World War, hidden in the woods. Oermuseum in Diever - small but nice museum about prehistory and dolmens. For food or a drink, Restaurant De Huuskamer is a well-known place in the village itself. If you drive a little further, Dwingeloo, Giethoorn and museum village Orvelte are also popular day trips from Ansen. In short, plenty to do!
