3 deluxe guest rooms available in an intimate riverside guesthouse, all bedrooms with desk/sofa and a spacious en-suite including bathtub. All 3 rooms have access to a shared living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. Make the most of the peaceful setting by the river and enjoy the fabulous yoga space with scenic views of the valley. From the garden there are stairs to access a river beach, perfect for cooling off in the summer months! *Please note: we have a cat who lives here too. This is my primary home, where I live year-round. I live in the top-floor of the house with my own kitchen and bathroom. I take care of the house, and Michael the cat who stays with us. My home is primarily a home for artists and creatives looking for a space to land, reconnect and create their own projects. The space is open for longer term stays for people who feel aligned. We often open our home to host community events such as women circles, workshops and occasionally intimate concerts.
Nature and surroundings
The house is on the outskirts of a small village, we are at the end of a small track so there are no direct neighbours. The garden of the house faces onto a beautiful view of the surrounding hillside and River Alva. There are steps down to a swimming spot on the river, perfect for summer days! From around here there are plenty of hiking trails, into the mountains, other river beaches, or nearby villages. The area is a beautiful place to explore with lots of waterfalls, quaint villages, and local culture. Our village of Barril de Alva has a small cafe and shop, and a restaurant. Coja is the nearest bigger village (5 mins drive) with more choices of markets and shops, cafes and restaurants.
