Camping without having to bring anything… how great is that? We have a cozy, fully furnished Bell tent with a 4-meter diameter set up in the most beautiful spot on the grounds. All four of our tent campsites are absolutely beautiful, and this is also the highest point on the grounds. This tent stands on a 2-meter-high deck at the very edge of the earthen embankment. It’s located on the corner of the plot and offers a fantastic view. The tent faces the edge of the forest and has its own small terrace. The spot is surrounded by plants and trees, making it very private. The nature house is equipped with electricity. Inside the tent are two separate single beds made of wooden slats and fitted with recycled cotton bedding. The tent is furnished with vintage wooden furniture and natural materials and features an outdoor kitchen. You can relax under the rain shower in the beautiful bathroom with flagstone flooring.
Nature and surroundings
This little vacation paradise is located right between and adjacent to two large forest districts: the Sleen and Schoonloo Forest District, which borders the Grolloo Forest District, which in turn borders other forest districts. The Orvelterveld, where “Ergens bij Eva” is located, also borders the Orvelterzand, a beautiful nature reserve with patches of open shifting sand, heathland, and Highland cattle. On our bike ride along the Pieterpad, we spent the night in the Bell tent at “Ergens bij Eva.” And what an amazing experience! It’s truly a tiny campground with just a few absolutely beautiful, idyllic campsites. The campground is full of flowers, and the sites are separated from one another by spacious green areas. (So no risk of crossing guy lines ;-)
The Bell tent is decorated with great charm, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The restroom building is certainly not your standard campground facility—it’s beautifully designed.
In addition to an excellent campground, Eva also serves delicious meals. It’s so nice to just have to heat up your meal after a day of biking. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, too.
