The Herderswagen is a cozy accommodation for two people and combines the feeling of being outdoors with just a little extra comfort. Inside you will find a cozy living room with chairs, a sofa and a dining table, creating a nice place to sit together, read or have a quiet breakfast. In addition, the Herderswagen has 1 lockable bedroom, with double bed and its own fully equipped kitchen and separate toilet, making your stay extra comfortable. For the shower you can use the sanitary building on the campsite. The Herderswagen is located at a central point on Camping Het Hazenpad, so all facilities are within reach and you can enjoy a quiet environment. In the teahouse you will find the reception desk. The small menu is full of tasty snacks, various types of coffee and tea, cakes and lunch dishes.
Nature and surroundings
From the Herderswagen the surroundings are easy to explore. An ideal base for those seeking peace and quiet, but also like to go out and about. Within walking distance lies swimming pool Engelgaarde, where you can go for a refreshing dip. Extensive nature reserves invite you to walk and cycle, while water, open space and the landscape provide plenty of outdoor fun for all ages. Those who like to discover culture or visit a city are also in the right place: the nearby city of Meppel offers cozy streets, stores and terraces. But Steenwijk, Hoogeveen and Zwolle are also nearby. From the campsite you can get on your bike or walk straight into the surroundings.
