You will stay in a house that was recently built as a vacation home, spacious, bright and comfortable. There is a bathroom and two bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs is another bedroom with a loft.The large sliding doors overlook the spacious terrace with garden, behind it the playground and behind it woodlands.Children have space here; it is also far from the road, so they can play freely. There is also separate play space inside. There are also outdoor games for adults, as well as a barbecue. The house is very wheelchair accessible. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances; there is wifi but no TV. The house is connected to a second vacation home, with a shared terrace. This house can also be rented together, so that you can accommodate a larger group.
Nature and surroundings
In this part of Drenthe you can still find real peace and quiet! The trip to the vacation home is a vacation trip in itself, through the greenery and over rural roads. There is hardly any ambient light, making the starry sky here overwhelming. If you like culture and history, this is also a good place to be. The cottage is in fact located in the middle of the Colonies of Weldadigheid (a poverty project from the 19th century), of which much can still be seen. Vledderveen lies on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold. Also the large nature reserves Dwingelderveld, Holtingerveld, Weerribben and Wieden (Giethoorn) are a short distance away. In short: those who love peace, space, history and nature will find plenty to enjoy here.
