Perched atop a hill is a nature house. Three spacious, cozy homes, each with 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, which can also be connected to accommodate larger groups. Each cottage can accommodate up to 12 adults and 2 children. We’ve been awarded four stars by Vlaanderen Vakantieland, meaning the cottages are fully equipped with all modern conveniences. As of this year, all bedrooms are also equipped with air conditioning. Below the homes is a shared heated indoor pool with a sauna; there’s a game room featuring air hockey, table tennis, and foosball; and outside, there’s a beautiful lawn with a sandbox, a swing, and a bocce court—and not to mention plenty of lounge chairs. You can safely store your bicycles with us, and there is a spacious parking lot right outside the door. Each home has large windows offering a stunning view and a private terrace.
Nature and surroundings
The location is magical, with a stunning view of nothing but nature—hills, forests, and meadows. There are no other buildings within a 1.5 km radius. This is the place to come for peace and nature, and you’ll find yourself right in the middle of an oasis of hiking and biking trails. We’re situated right on the border between the Netherlands (South Limburg) and Belgium (the Voer Region). We’re even located within a nature reserve and quiet zone. In the morning, while enjoying a cup of coffee on the terrace, you might spot birds of prey, deer, or a pheasant. At night, badgers emerge from their nearby burrows, and wild boars are also active. Another creature you might hear in the summer is the midwife toad. This rare toad also lives here and has a distinctive whistle. Don’t worry—no croaking frogs… In addition to the beautiful surroundings, you can also enjoy a trip to Maastricht (15 min.), Aachen (30 min.), or Valkenburg (20 min.), and Tongeren and Liège are also nearby. There are charming village centers nearby with nice restaurants and cafes. In short, the ideal spot.....
